Selected work

Web design portfolio.

Every site here is live at its own address and you can open it. What one of these costs to commission is set out on the web design prices page, and there is more on websites built for tradesmen if that is the trade you are in.

Each site is shaped around its business, not the other way round.

Stephen Mathes is an alternative soul artist from Hertfordshire, and that site is one page built to get people pressing play. AGL Plumbing Services is a plumber in St Albans, and that site is built to get the phone ringing. Red Ronin Studios films brands, events and weddings, and that site opens on their own footage. The first two have case studies below that walk through the decisions behind them, and why they suit that business rather than coming from a template. Each project gets the same attention, whether it is a two page takeaway site or a full brand rebuild.

Every page is a real one.

Real pages from Stephen Mathes, AGL Plumbing Services and Red Ronin Studios, live and open to visit below.

An alternative soul artist from Hertfordshire, six releases deep. The job of this site is not to be read. It is to get someone from arriving to pressing play, and then to hold them long enough to follow.

A plumber based in St Albans, working across Hertfordshire. The visitor is usually standing in a wet kitchen and is not browsing. Everything on this site is arranged around getting them to a phone number fast, and giving them a reason to trust it when they get there.

A video and photography studio in St Albans, run by Ben and Hadrien. Their work is film, so the site opens on it: the painted ensō from their logo gives way to a silent loop cut from their own footage, and the rest of the site moves with the scroll in ink, paper and crimson.
